Bahay Kubo

There are thousands upon thousands of poverty stricken people living in slums living in squatter houses made by themselves, And thousands more are homeless. As I grow up in poor areas in Manila, I try to find a solution to their housing problems and this is the BAHAY KUBO, literally translated as House Hut. This small structure can stand anywhere may it be on a beach, near a swamp, forest, valley or plains. It can sustain itself by having a water pump manually or electrically pumping water from ground and filtering with reverse osmosis system for drinking water. .

Solar power generates electricity through a series of batteries on its foundation.
